Arrive at Udaipur Airport or Railway Station, where the family will be met and transferred to the hotel.

Complete check-in and enjoy lunch followed by sufficient time to rest.

Later in the afternoon, proceed to Doodh Talai and board the Mansapurna Karni Mata Ropeway. Enjoy the short cable-car journey and panoramic views over Lake Pichola, the old city and the surrounding Aravalli hills.

Continue for a scheduled boat ride on Lake Pichola. See Udaipur’s ghats, palaces and historic buildings from the water as the city begins to light up for the evening.

After the boat ride, spend some time around Gangaur Ghat before attending the scheduled Dharohar folk performance at Bagore Ki Haveli. The performance brings together traditional Rajasthani music, colourful costumes, folk dances and puppetry.

Return to the hotel after the show for an overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, visit Bird Park at Gulab Bagh.

Walk through the different bird sections and see the species housed at the park. These may include parrots, macaws, cockatoos, pelicans, aquatic birds and other colourful residents. A ride on the Gulab Bagh toy train may be enjoyed if it is operating on the day.

Continue to the magnificent City Palace Museum.

Explore selected courtyards, balconies, galleries and royal spaces. Look out for coloured-glass windows, mirrored decoration and the celebrated peacock mosaics of Mor Chowk. The visit will focus on the palace’s most visually engaging areas rather than attempting to cover every room.

Continue to the nearby Jagdish Temple, subject to crowd levels, operating conditions and the family’s preference.

Stop for lunch and return to the hotel for a proper afternoon rest.

Later, attend a specially arranged child-friendly Mewar miniature-painting experience at a local art studio. Under the artist’s supervision, each child works on a simplified motif such as a peacock, horse, elephant, lotus or palace window.

The child can personalise the colours, add a hidden magical detail and take the completed artwork home.

The evening remains free for the swimming pool, hotel leisure or a relaxed family dinner.

After an early breakfast, depart for Kumbhalgarh Fort.

The journey passes through the Aravalli landscape and generally takes approximately 2.5–3 hours each way, depending on traffic, road conditions and the hotel’s location.

On arrival, explore the fort’s principal gateways, defensive walls, temples and selected palace areas. Children discover why Kumbhalgarh was built high in the hills and how its gates, walls, lookout points, water systems and internal buildings helped protect the people living inside.

The fort’s extensive wall is one of its most remarkable features. The family will explore only a comfortable and age-appropriate portion of the complex; the itinerary does not involve walking the entire wall.

After the visit, enjoy lunch before beginning the return journey to Udaipur.

Arrive at the hotel by late afternoon or early evening. The remainder of the day is intentionally kept free for rest, swimming and dinner.

After a relaxed breakfast, visit Saheliyon Ki Bari.

Explore its fountains, lotus pools, marble pavilions and landscaped gardens. The open setting provides a gentler beginning after the previous day’s excursion.

Continue to the Udaipur Wax Museum. Enjoy its collection of wax personalities and family photography opportunities. Navigate the Mirror Maze.

Thereafter, proceed to Shilpgram, Udaipur’s rural arts and crafts complex. Walk through its traditional houses and courtyards and see the craft shops, displays or demonstrations operating that day.

Stop for lunch and return to the hotel for a proper afternoon break.

Later, attend a specially arranged kathputli-making activity (Subject to being operational). Each child receives a prepared puppet base to decorate and dress. The facilitator introduces the child to the puppet’s strings and basic movements.

Every child gives the puppet a name and takes it home as a personal Udaipur keepsake.

After the activity, visit Fateh Sagar Lake for a relaxed evening stop. Enjoy the waterfront atmosphere and refreshments before returning to the hotel.

Depending on the departure schedule, spend the morning at leisure, enjoy the hotel facilities or make a short visit to a local market for souvenirs.

Transfer to Udaipur Airport or Railway Station for the onward journey.
